HOMAGE TO THE EMIR

Posted by ADEMOLA (LAGOS, Nigeria) on 22 November 2015 in Documentary & Street.

DURBAR DISPLAY IS A FESTIVAL WITH HORSE RIDING AROUND THE STREETS IN NOTHERN NIGERIA, DRESSED COLOURFULLY, THE HORSE RIDERS PAY HOMAGE TO THE EMIR, DURBAR TAKES PLACE MOSTLY IN THE NOTHERN PART OF NIGERIA AT THE END OF ISLAMIC FASTING AND OTHER MUSLIM FESTIVALS.

I LOOK AT PHOTOGRAH AS ISSUES OF DISCUSSION, MAY BE BY PROFESSION "photojournalist" THIS HAS MADE ME CONCENTRATE ON HUMANITARIAN PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT OF RECENT, AFTER A PROGRAMME AT NIGERIA INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM, I BEGIN TO PLAY WITH LIGHTS, ANGLE, GRAPHICS etc, I THINK THIS IS LEADING ME TO ABSTRACT BUT I LOVE HUMANITY BECAUSE IT HAS WON ME SOME PRESTIGEOUS AWARDS, I WILL APPRECIATE COMMENTS TO IMPROVE, HOWEVER ,TO USE ANY PLEASE CONTACT THE PHOTOGRAPHER.
